Casual or Competitive Private Reservations

Please note that this article only applies to private reservations and not public matches.

By default, all private reservations are confirmed in competitive mode. However once your reservation is confirmed, you will be able to choose to play it as casual or competitive.

Things to consider:

• If you are the owner, you can change the type before the reservation starts, not during or after.

• If you are a player that has joined, you can request to change it in the reservation chat before the reservation starts, not during or after.

   

How to make your booking competitive or casual

1. Locate your reservation in the app, and click on the match type menu.

2. Select which mode you want to change to and save.

Casual vs Competitive Reservations

Competitive

☑️ The entry of results will ALWAYS change the level of each player.

☑️ It is intended for players who want to test themselves in competitive matches and want to improve their Playtomic level.

Casual

☑️ The level of the players will NEVER be changed, even if the result is entered.

☑️ It is intended for players who want to play for fun without worrying about the result and the competitiveness of a match.
