Payment Methods in Playtomic

You can reserve a court, participate in a match or in the activities of your favorite Clubs by paying with the following methods of payment:

These are the payment methods you can use in Playtomic:

💰 Credit/debit card

You can add a credit/debit or prepaid card from the checkout page when you are booking a court or enrolling in a public match.

🚨 Please note that there is a service charge for this payment method, which we explain here, and we always advise you before you complete a booking.

 

💰 Club Wallet (if the Club has it activated)

If you play frequently at the same Club, you may find it useful to use the Club Wallet. If the Club has it active, you can purchase it from their Home page in the Playtomic app.

🚨 Please keep in mind it can be only used for bookings or public matches of the same Club.

 

💰 Cash or card at the Club 

(This option is only available in selected regions and under special conditions).

Some Clubs have this option active in the app, and you will be able to see it in the booking summary by clicking on the âž• icon within the drop-down menu for payment methods.

 

Payment methods depend on your region and club settings

💸 Payment methods may vary depending on the region/country and if the Club has activated them. You will see the available options in the check out screen when confirming your booking.

Additional payment methods available by country:

  • Swish: Sweden
  • Paytrail: Finland
  • iDEAL: Belgium and the Netherlands
    • Note: In the Netherlands, iDEAL is only available for single payments. It cannot be used for split payments.
  • Bancontact: Belgium and the Netherlands
  • PayPal: Germany (not available for Wallet top ups)

FAQ:

  • Is it still possible to top up the Playtomic Wallet?
    No, It is no longer possible to top up the Playtomic Wallet as it is no longer available as a payment method. Instead, you can use the Club Wallet
  • Can I change my payment method after the booking is confirmed?
    No, it is not possible to switch payment methods once the booking is confirmed. The only way to select a different payment method, would be to cancel the booking and book again, choosing a different payment method.
  • Can I decide to pay at the club for an open match?
    No, you can't pay at the club for an open match, online payment is required.
  • Can I buy a gift card or voucher on Playtomic? 
    No. Playtomic doesn’t currently offer gift cards or vouchers. As an alternative, you can contact a specific club and ask them to add credit to the recipient’s in-app Wallet. This credit can be used for bookings at that club. You can find the club's contact information in the Playtomic app or in the booking confirmation email.
