What is the Club Wallet?

The Club Wallet (also called Merchant Wallet) is a prepaid balance you can use at a specific club. Think of it as an alternative payment method: a digital wallet that holds credit for that venue—you can use it to pay for court reservations, open matches, equipment, refreshments, and other club services.

❗Important Notes

  • Club Wallet credit cannot be used to pay outstanding debts with Playtomic. To pay a debt, you must use a credit/debit card.
  • If you want to ask for a refund, please contact the club directly. Each club decides whether to approve or deny refund requests, as Club Wallets are managed by the club, not by Playtomic
  • To use your wallet at checkout, you must have enough credit to cover the full payment amount—partial payments are not supported
  • Club Wallet credit is non-transferable and cannot be moved between clubs or accounts

  • How do I buy a Club Wallet? 
    Open the Playtomic app and navigate to the club's page. Tap on the "Home" tab (next to "Book") and scroll down to the "Offers" section. Select the Club Wallet you want to purchase, choose your payment method, and complete the transaction. For step-by-step instructions, check out this detailed guide.
  • How do I top up my wallet? 
    You can directly at the club and they'll add credit to your app account. Some clubs also offer online top-ups through the Playtomic app.
  • The club added credit to my wallet, but I don't see it. Why? 
    Contact the club to verify they added it to the correct account. Make sure the email in their system matches your Playtomic profile email.
  • I bought a wallet but don't see it at checkout. Why? 
    This could happen for a couple of reasons. Your wallet may have usage restrictions—some clubs limit when or where wallets can be used (certain times, courts, or activities). Alternatively, you might not have enough credit to cover the full payment. For example, if your reservation costs €15 but you only have €10 in your wallet, you'll need to top up first before the wallet appears as a payment option.
  • Where can I see my Club Wallet balance? Go to your profile, tap the three lines in the top right corner, then go to Your payments → Payment methods. Your available wallet balance will be shown there. Note that not all clubs offer a wallet.
