What is a Club Membership?

Club Memberships allow you to subscribe to exclusive benefits at your favorite club through the Playtomic App. By subscribing, you may get access to perks such as:

  • Discounted booking prices
  • Priority court access
  • The ability to book further in advance compared to non-members
  • A customised cancellation policy

Each club creates its own membership packages with unique benefits. You can review all included perks in the membership description before subscribing.

If there is no Memberships tab on the club's page, it means the club does not currently offer online memberships.

How to Subscribe to a Club Membership

  1. Open the Playtomic App and go to your preferred club's page
  2. Tap the Memberships tab
  3. Select the membership you want and review the benefits and pricing
  4. Tap Subscribe and complete the payment

⚠️Since memberships use automatic payments, you'll be redirected to Stripe to securely enter your card details, even if you already have a card saved for bookings. If you pay by card, your membership will renew automatically on the renewal date. You can check your next payment date before you subscribe.

Payment methods accepted

Depending on the club and your country, you may be able to pay with:

  • Credit or debit card
  • Wallet
  • Google Pay or Apple Pay
  • Local payment methods (such as iDEAL, Swish, Paytrail, Bancontact, or PayPal, depending on availability)

Subscription periods

Clubs can offer different subscription periods — one-off, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. The available options will be shown before you confirm your purchase.

Managing your membership

You can view and cancel your membership anytime through the app:

Option 1: Club landing page → Memberships → Manage → Cancel plan

Option 2: Profile → Menu (three horizontal lines) → Your payments → Club Memberships → Manage → Cancel plan

From here you can also view your payment history and manage upcoming payments.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Your membership remains active until the cancellation date
  • You cannot subscribe to a new membership during this period
  • You can renew your membership at any time before it expires

Grace period for missed payments

If a renewal payment fails, your club may allow a grace period to complete the payment and keep your access without interruption. You can pay directly in the app during this period. If the grace period ends and the payment is still pending, the membership will be automatically deactivated.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can a club manager add me to a membership?
    Yes. Clubs can add members manually in their own system. If a club adds you to a membership manually, you can manage the payment in the app or directly at the club.
  • Will I be charged if I cancel before the renewal date?
    No. Your renewal date becomes your cancellation date, and you'll retain access until then without further charges.
  • Can I purchase memberships on https://playtomic.com/?
    Yes—depending on how the club has configured the membership, you may also be able to purchase it on the website.
  • Can I have both a membership and a benefit assigned by the club at the same time?
    No. You can only be part of one group of benefits per club at a time. If you purchase a membership, any existing benefit assigned to you will be automatically removed.
  • What happens at renewal?
    If you paid with a credit or debit card, Playtomic will attempt to charge it automatically at renewal. If you paid with another method (such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a local payment method), renewals will need to be completed manually in the app or at the club.
