Ready to compete? Here's how to find and join a tournament in the app!
Step 1: Browse Tournaments
- Open the app and head to the Home page
- Tap on Compete
- Tap the filters icon in the top left corner
Step 2: Apply Filters
Use these handy filters to find your perfect tournament:
- Activity Type: Select Tournament or League
- Sport and Location: Choose your sport and search by place, club name, or postcode
- Distance: Set your preferred distance range
- Date: Pick a date from the calendar (one at a time)
- Tournaments I Can Play: Turn this button on (it'll turn blue) to see only tournaments that match your gender and level
- Gender Preference: Select Male, Female, or Open
- Enrollment Type: Choose Single or Double
Once you've set everything up, tap Apply Filters to see your results!
Step 3: Select a Tournament
- Browse through the results to find something you like
- Tap on the tournament to see all the details
Step 4: Join the Tournament
On the tournament details page, you'll find three helpful buttons at the top:
- Join: Sign up for the tournament (on your own or with a partner)
- Share: Share the tournament with your friends
- Chat: Message the organizer or other players
To join:
- Tap the Join button
- Choose Single or Double (this depends on how the club has set up the tournament)
- If you're joining as a double, add your partner
- Check out the fee per person and cancellation policy
- Tap Continue Payment
- Select your payment method and complete the payment for both spots (if needed)
Alternative: Join via Club Profile
Already know which club you want to play at? Here's a shortcut:
- Go to the club's profile in the app
- Tap the Competitions tab
- Pick a date and browse the available tournaments
- Follow the enrollment steps above
How to Leave a Tournament
- Go to Profile > Your Activity > Competition > Your Competitions
- Open the tournament you want to leave
- Tap the red Leave Tournament button at the bottom
- Confirm by tapping Cancel Tournament
Heads up: If you joined with a partner, leaving will also cancel their spot. if you paid online, you'll get an automatic refund to your original payment method.
Tournament Cancellation Policy
Tournaments need a minimum number of players to go ahead. If that minimum isn't met by the registration deadline, the tournament will be automatically cancelled and everyone who paid online will get a full refund.
